Administrator – Living Well Tameside

About us

Big Life is in the business of changing lives. We fight inequality by working with people and places to create opportunities and inspire change. Whatever service we deliver to help people to change their lives, we do things the Big Life Way.

Living Well Tameside is a partnership built on lived experience. We work together – The Big Life group, Tameside, Oldham & Glossop Mind, and Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust – to make sure people in Tameside get the right support when they need it most.

What you’ll be doing

As an Administrator at Living Well Tameside, you’ll play a key role in supporting our busy and compassionate mental health service. You’ll provide vital day-to-day admin support across our neighbourhood teams in Ashton, Denton, Stalybridge, Hyde, and Glossop.

From managing referrals and maintaining accurate data to preparing reports, taking minutes, and supporting communication, you’ll help keep things running smoothly so our frontline teams can focus on delivering care.

  • You’re confident using Microsoft Office, databases, and managing emails and calendars.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • You’re a clear communicator, a team player, and comfortable liaising with different services and members of the public.
  • You are motivated, resilient, and understand the importance of discretion and confidentiality.
  • You need a standard-level DBS check for this role.
What we will offer you in return
  • An annual salary of £24,790 pro rata (NJC 5)
  • A 22.5 hours per week, fixed-term contract until 31 March 2026.
  • 25 days holiday, and 30 once you’ve been here five years (pro rata)
  • A relaxed culture where you are expected to plan your own day, take breaks when you need them and enjoy your work.
  • Ongoing personal and professional development through regular supervision
  • A supportive, flexible approach to managing staff health and wellbeing, including a wide range of perks, schemes, and support.
