The Energise Centre is a community centre in the heart of Salford, from which statutory, community and voluntary organisations deliver health and wellbeing services, including a GP surgery.

All the groups, courses and services that take place at the centre aim to improve and maintain your health and happiness. We also have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities at the centre, from leading groups to helping out around the building!

Recipe Bags (From 10am)

Grab a healthy recipe bag from the centre for just £1.50. First come, first served.

Health Walk (10:30- 12:30)

Walking is great for your health and can even help you to lose weight. Come along to our weekly walk to start taking steps towards a healthier you. Meet at The Energise Centre at 10:15 or the entrance to Kersal Wetlands at 10.30am.

Grow Together Gardening Group (11:00- 12:30)

Let’s grow together! Come along and help us create our very own wellness garden right here at the energise centre! We are also welcoming donations of plants, cuttings, planters and gardening equipment to help us with our project!

Be Creative (12:30-14:00)

Come and join our weekly creativity group. Draw, paint, craft and much more. No experience necessary. Just turn up! Suggested £1 donation.

Women’s Group (4th April, 2nd May 11:00- 12:30)

Wild women rising! Come along to our new women only group facilitated by Greater Manchester Doulas. We want this to be a safe, non-judgemental space for women of any age where we can build self-confidence, and practice self-care and setting healthy boundaries.

Chair Based Exercise (11:00- 12:00)

Friendship Group for over 50’s (12:00- 13:30) 

Would you like to be part of the friendship group for over 50’s? Meet new friends, activities, games and much more. Drop-in session, all welcome. Suggested £1 donation.

Wellbeing Fair (12:00-15:00)

Come along and connect with your local community at our wellbeing fair and open day! Information stalls from a range of local organisations, holistic therapies taster sessions and much more! No need to book –  just turn up.

Tea and Chat Drop-in (15:00-17:00)

Drop in session for adults in need of a brew, a chat or just a place to relax for a few hours. Games, activities and refreshments available.

Holistic Share (14 and 28 June,  11:00- 12:00)

Group meditation session with tips and advice on some holistic ways to look after your health and wellbeing. Booking essential.

Wellbeing Walk (13:00- 14:00) 

Come and join our weekly walking group. Meet new people, connect with the community and explore local green spaces. Meet at Kersal Wetlands, Littleton Road, Salford for a 1 hour walk. Join us afterwards at the centre for a brew.

Fibromyalgia Support Group (13:00 – 14:30)

Support group for those living with fibromyalgia or chronic pain. If you can’t make it in person but would like to attend on Zoom, please get in touch for the link.

Stretch & Smile (8 and 22 June, 11:00- 12:00)

Gentle exercise class with a focus on relaxation, stretching and positivity. Booking essential.

Meet at Drinkwater Park, Rainsough Brow off Agecroft Road, Prestwich, M259XW for a gentle 1 hour wellbeing walk.

Do you want to get more active? Join us for a walk around Kersal Moor. Meet at Salford City Football Club, Moor Lane entrance.

Salford Breast Buddies  (13:00-14:30)

Come along to our monthly breast cancer support group for anyone with a breast cancer diagnosis in Salford. Open to those with a breast cancer diagnosis, those currently in treatment and breast cancer survivors.
