The Energise Centre is a community centre in the heart of Salford, from which statutory, community and voluntary organisations deliver health and wellbeing services, including a GP surgery.

All the groups, courses and services that take place at the centre aim to improve and maintain your health and happiness. We also have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities at the centre, from leading groups to helping out around the building!

Motivate your Monday Walk! (10.30am – 11.30am)

Walking is great for your health and can even help you to lose weight. Come along to our weekly walk to start taking steps towards a healthier you. Meet at The Energise Centre at 10.15am or the entrance to Kersal Wetlands at 10.30am.



Grow Together Gardening Group (11am – 12pm)

Let’s grow together! Come along and help us create our very own wellness garden right here at the energise centre! We are also welcoming donations of plants, cuttings, planters and gardening equipment to help us with our project!



Be Creative (12.30pm – 2pm)

Come and join our weekly creativity group. Draw, paint, craft and much more. No experience necessary. Just turn up! Suggested £1 donation.



Newborn Mothers (4th June, 2nd July- 10.30am- 12pm)

Please note the new session time of this group. This is a women’s group aimed at pregnant women and new mothers hosted by Greater Manchester Doulas. We know that postpartum can sometimes feel lonely or overwhelming, so we invite you to come along and allow yourself to exhale.

Women’s Group (4th June, 2nd July- 2pm- 3pm

Please note the new session time of this group. Wild women rising! Come along to our new women only group facilitated by Greater Manchester Doulas. We want this to be a safe, non-judgemental space for women of any age where we can build self-confidence, and practice self-care and setting healthy boundaries.

Chair Based Exercise (11am – 12pm)

Come and join us for some gentle exercise to enhance your mobility, flexibility and muscle strength. Please note this class is now full.



Friendship Group for over 50s (12pm – 1.30pm) 

Would you like to be part of the friendship group for over 50s? Meet new friends, activities, games and much more. Drop-in session, all welcome. Suggested £1 donation.

Weekly, no session on 4th & 18th June 

Wellbeing Fair (18th June, 12:00– 15:00)

Come along and connect with your local community at our
wellbeing fair and open day. Information stalls from a range of
local organisations, holistic therapies taster sessions, recipe bags,
tea & cake, craft stalls and more! Main event will be in the hall at
St Sebastian’s Community Centre (adjoining building to The Energise Centre) All welcome.


Health Improvement Team Stop Smoking Drop-in (1pm- 3pm) 

Weekly stop smoking drop-in with the Salford Health Improvement Team. Come along and get the support you need to quit smoking for good.



Tea and Chat Drop-in (3pm – 5pm)

Drop in session for adults in need of a brew, a chat or just a place to relax for a few hours. Games, activities and refreshments available.

Weekly, no session on 4th & 18th June 


Holistic Share  (11am- 12pm)

Group meditation session with tips and advice on some holistic ways to look after your wellbeing.  Booking essential.



Wellbeing Walk (1pm- 2pm)

Come and join our weekly walking group. Meet new people, connect with the community and explore local green spaces. Meet at Kersal Wetlands, Littleton Road, Salford for a 1 hour walk. Join us afterwards at the centre for a brew.

Kersal Moor Wellbeing Walk (1pm – 2pm)

Do you want to get more active? Join us for a walk around Kersal Moor. Meet at Salford City Football Club, Moor Lane entrance.

Drinkwater Park Walk (30th May, 12pm- 1pm)

Meet at Drinkwater Park, Rainsough Brow off Agecroft Road, Prestwich, M259XW, for a gentle 1 hour wellbeing walk.

Breast Buddies (30th May, 27th June, 25th July- 1pm- 2.30pm) 

Friendly peer support group. Open to those with a breast cancer diagnosis, those currently in treatment and breast cancer survivors.

Empower Hour (11:30am- 12:30pm)

Lets look at life goals to help you to be the best version of yourself! This will include, Goal Setting Techniques, Confidence building activities and more.
