Living with anxiety or depression? Manchester’s anxiety and depression support groups are here so you can join others, build on your experience, overcome obstacles like isolation and find new ways to move on together.
Our groups are for anyone over 18, living in Manchester. They’re free, run every week and you just drop-in face to face or online – whenever suits you best. It’s a safe and confidential place to talk about your experiences and share advice.

We will be growing vegetables, doing garden maintenance and making garden structures. There’s no need to book, just drop in.
14:00 – 16:00 – Managing Distressing Thoughts Workshop

This workshop will show how Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques can help manage distress by:
- Understanding our emotions and how they can affect us
- Looking at ways of tolerating distress
- Accepting our emotions
- Improving emotional wellbeing
This is a Rolling 10-week course, starting on Tuesday, 9 May from 2-4pm. There is no need to book, just drop in.
