Celebrating The Big Life Group Staff Awards 2026

Every year, colleagues from across The Big Life Group come together for our annual Staff Awards, a chance to celebrate achievements, recognise outstanding contributions, and connect.

This year’s event took place at the wonderful Sheridan Suite in Manchester, with live music from community group Locke and Steele and jazz duo Street Jazz helping to set the tone for a memorable evening.

The awards shine a spotlight on the people and teams whose commitment, compassion and determination help drive Big Life’s mission to fight for equity in health, wealth and life.

More than 300 nominations were submitted, with staff taking the opportunity to recognise colleagues making a real difference every day. The nominations highlighted extraordinary examples of dedication and impact, from supporting people through the toughest times to creating opportunities, improving wellbeing, and strengthening communities. Achievements celebrated included the launch of a new community hub at Thorn Cross Prison, improvements to maternity support groups, and record levels of local health check delivery.

Every nomination was reviewed by a panel of Big Life board members before the winners were revealed during a special awards ceremony on the night.

We are incredibly proud of everyone who was nominated, shortlisted and recognised. Their passion, talent and commitment are what make Big Life such a special place, helping thousands of people access the support, opportunities and services they need to lead healthier, happier lives.
