The Minds Matter service offers Step 1 support, advice and guidance to people whose mental wellbeing may be negatively affected by their social circumstances. It is delivered from community venues across Tameside and Glossop, and we work in partnership with a range of NHS and community organisations. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to lead on the expansion of a step 2 offer, initially with the development of an e therapy service.
We are looking for a motivated Team Leader to join our expanding service in Tameside. The post holder will line manage and case manage a team of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, delivering a range of NICE approved low intensity interventions for depression and anxiety disorders. The post holder will also carry a caseload, delivering step 2 interventions by telephone, groups, face to face and e therapy.
The successful candidate will be skilled in delivering low intensity therapy, highly motivated with the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload and will have successfully completed an approved IAPT PWP Post Graduate Certificate. An IAPT supervisor qualification is desirable. The willingness/capability to successfully complete the IAPT supervisor course is essential.
