What you’ll be doing

As a Teaching Assistant, in a class-based position, you will work closely with the class teacher and up to 30 children. You will work to support teaching and learning to improve outcomes, both academic and social, for all  children.

What we need from you

  • Experience of working with children in schools in a teaching assistant role.
  • A commitment to inclusion and nurture.
  • High expectations of children’s learning and behaviour.
  • To be creative, dedicated, passionate, and work well within our happy team.
  • To share Longsight’s vision and the values of The Big Life group.
  • Experience in supporting language and communication development in children with English as an Additional Language would be very welcome.
