Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, Eastern Cheshire

Salary: £26, 220 per annum (fixed point 4 of band 5 on the NHS scale)
Working hours: 37.5
Contract: Permanent
Based at: Oakfield House, Macclesfield

Self Help Services is a user led mental health charity that has developed considerable expertise in the field of primary care mental health. The charity currently delivers a range of services including self help support groups, cCBT services, counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. The charity is funded by various NHS Trusts and works across the North West with the head office based in Old Trafford, Manchester. Eastern Cheshire head office is in Macclesfield which is where the post is based from. Venues are across eastern Cheshire.

We are looking for a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join the Talking Therapies service in East Cheshire on a permanent contract we have full time and part time vacancies available. The post holder will work alongside a team of psychological wellbeing practitioners, counsellors and CBT Therapists within a stepped care model to provide a range of NICE approved interventions for common mental health disorders.

This post would suit a newly qualified PWPs looking to consolidate their learning within an established service. We will provide access to high quality supervision. The successful candidate must be motivated with the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload. Experience of working within an IAPT service is essential. Self Help Services welcomes applications from people with personal experience of mental health problems.
