Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

Salary: £26,220 per annum (NHS scale Band 5, point 4/old point 19)
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent 
Based at: Oakland House, Talbot Road, Manchester, M16 0PQ

We have a vacancy for x 2 motivated Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner’s to join our Manchester team. The post holders will work alongside other step 2 staff within a stepped care model to provide a range of NICE approved low intensity interventions for depression and anxiety disorders. Treatment will be delivered through a range of modalities including face-to-face work, telephone therapy and facilitating structured groups.

The successful candidates will have proven experience of working as a PWP, will be skilled in delivering low intensity therapy, highly motivated with the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload and will have successfully completed an approved IAPT PWP Post Graduate Certificate.

There will also be the opportunity with these posts to complete the PWP Long Term Conditions top up training at Manchester University in January 2020 in order to work specifically with clients with long term physical health conditions and mild/moderate mental health problems.
