Qualified IAPT Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner
Salary: £26,220 (this is point 19 on the NHS scale)
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
Based at: Lock 50, Rochdale
Thinking Ahead is a user led mental health charity that has developed considerable expertise in the field of primary care mental health. The charity currently delivers a range of services including self help support groups, E-Therapy services, Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. The charity is funded by various NHS Trusts and works across the Rochdale, Middleton and Heywood. Our base is within Rochdale, but the Big Life headquarters are based within Stretford, Manchester.
Applications are invited from Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners.
The successful candidates will be expected to deliver psychological therapy using self-help procedures within a stepped care model, as part of the “Improving Access to Psychological Therapies” (IAPT) programme.
You will possess a good honours degree in social sciences and a Post Graduate Certificate in Primary Care Mental Health/ Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Interventions.
