Oral Health Packer

About us

Big Life is in the business of changing lives. We fight inequality by working with people and places to create opportunities and inspire change. Whatever service we deliver to help people to change their lives, we do things the Big Life Way.

Living Well Rochdale is a health and wellbeing service supporting people across Rochdale to make positive lifestyle changes. Each year, we distribute thousands of oral health packs to schools, nurseries, and community venues across the borough.

What you’ll be doing

As an Oral Health Packer, you’ll help prepare and organise oral health resources – like toothbrushes and toothpaste – ready for delivery to key community locations. Your work will make sure families, children and community groups receive the health tools they need.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Packing oral health resources (e.g. toothbrushes and toothpaste) into kits
  • Labelling stock ready for delivery to local schools, nurseries, children’s centres and more
  • Occasionally supporting the packing of additional lifestyle resources and leaflets
  • Recording expenses digitally via an app or computer.

What we need from you

  • You’re organised and reliable
  • You have good oral and written communication skills
  • You’re comfortable using a smartphone or computer to log your mileage and expenses
  • You enjoy hands-on work and being part of a community-based team
  • You’re happy to work flexibly and respond to needs as they arise.

What we will offer you in return

  • Flexible, casual hours to fit around your schedule
  • £12.60 per hour plus travel expenses
  • The opportunity to support vital community health initiatives
  • A supportive team and training where needed
  • The chance to make a real difference in local people’s lives.

 What next?

If you’re ready to make a difference in your community and want a flexible role you can be proud of, we’d love to hear from you.
