Based at: Talking Therapies Manchester, Oakland House, M16 0PQ. Travel to other locations in Manchester will be required.
We are looking for motivated IAPT Team Managers to join our expanding Talking Therapies service in Manchester.
Permanent contract: the post-holders will line and case manage a team of PWPs, eTherapy Coordinators and Counsellors delivering a range of NICE approved low intensity interventions for depression and anxiety disorders.
Fixed term contract: the post-holders will work within the Talking Therapies Manchester service; managing practitioners within both the Hub and Core team. This will include facilitating line management and case management. They will work alongside the service manager to support team members to deliver the service to a high standard. The role will involve supervising staff, ensuring practitioners are supported and confident in their roles. The role will also have an emphasis on developing and maintaining relationships with the Manchester NHS Mental Health Service, and the other third sector mental health organisations across Manchester. The post-holder will be competent in assigning clients to the most appropriate service (provided either by Self Help or externally) to meet the client’s needs, whilst also working within the stepped care model.
The successful candidates will be skilled in delivering low intensity therapy, highly motivated with the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload and will have successfully completed an approved IAPT PWP Post Graduate Certificate. An IAPT/counselling supervisor qualification is desirable. The willingness/capability to successfully complete the IAPT supervisor course is essential.
