High Intensity CBT Therapist

Salary: £40,588 (fixed at NHS band 6 + 5 years) pro-rata (Salary for those awaiting CBT qualification salary will be £33,706 (B6 entry) pro-rata until proof of qualification)
Working hours: 30 hours per week
Contract length: Permanent
Based at: Macclesfield but to work from various venues across East Cheshire. This can include home-working.

We are looking for a High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our Talking Therapies service in Eastern Cheshire. This post would suit a newly qualified HIT (or those awaiting qualification) looking to consolidate their learning within an established service.

The post holder will work alongside a team of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs), Counsellors and CBT Therapists, within a stepped-care model, to provide a range of NICE-approved interventions for common mental health disorders. There will be a mixture of homeworking and attending clinics within East Cheshire.

The successful candidate must be motivated with the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload. Experience of working within an NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT) service is essential.

We offer an 8am – 8pm service, with flexible working patterns, allowing opportunities such as condensed hours. There will be an expectation to work one evening a week.
