eTherapy Co-ordinator (Children & Young People)

Salary: £21,089 per annum (pro rata). NHS Scale Band 4 fixed point 3.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (part-time also available)
Contract: Fixed Term until March 2021, pending review of the Integrated Community Response (ICR) pilot
Based at: Oakland House, First Floor East, 76 Talbot Road, Stretford, Manchester, M16 0PQ.

We are looking for a motivated eTherapy coordinator to join our ICR pilot scheme, part of our expanding psychological wellbeing services in Manchester. Although only a short time post, for now, this is an ideal development opportunity for those wishing to enhance their skills, knowledge and experience of eTherapy and inter-agency working in the support of services for children and young people. Support will be delivered through a range of modalities including face-to-face work and telephone therapy.

The successful candidate, ideally, will have a minimum 12 months experience of working with children and young people, experience and knowledge of common mental health problems, and an understanding of the issues faced by young people. A passion for improving the lives of those people who are affected by common mental health is essential. Self Help can provide excellent opportunities for ongoing personal and professional development through regular supervision and training opportunities. Self Help welcomes applications from people with personal experience of mental health problems.
