What you’ll be doing

As a Early Years Nursery Class Teacher (Maternity Cover) you will be working as a highly effective Early Years classroom practitioner who is nurturing, reflective and can be flexible in responding to different demands.

What we need from you

  • You will be an outstanding EYFS classroom practitioner.
  • You will have high expectations of learning and behaviour.
  • You will motivate and inspire children and adults through innovative practice.
  • You will be a link between home and school, fostering and supporting good relationships.
  • You will be positive, resilient, flexible and work well in our happy team.
  • You will share Unity’s vision and the values of the Big Life Group.

What we will offer you in return

  • Salary Scale and Point: Teacher main scale depending on experience. As we are an academy, we are happy to consider a highly experienced Practitioner without QTS who has experience in leading a preschool room and managing staff. Salary point 12 NJC for unqualified Practitioner. Unfortunately, we cannot consider ECTs at this time.
  • A contract from March 2024 – March 2025, or when teacher returns.
