What you’ll be doing

As Clinical HUB Manager, at NHS Manchester Talking Therapies (The Big Life Group), based at Oakland House Manchester, you will work with the service manager to support team members deliver the service to a high standard. You will also supervise staff, where necessary, to ensure all staff are supported and feel confident in their roles which includes facilitating line management, case management acting as Duty Manager, facilitating development of the team and performing triage on a weekly basis.

The role will also have an emphasis on developing and maintaining relationships with Manchester NHS Mental Health Services and the other third sector mental health organisations across Manchester.

What we need from you

  • You will hold a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Qualification and have professional registration.
  • You will have experience in managing staff or a project.
  • You will have experience of working with a range of service providers and stakeholders.
  • You will be able to work effectively under pressure, in a dynamic environment.
  • You will have knowledge of the barriers that service users face when accessing mainstream services.
  • You will have the ability to manage staff and teams whilst working effectively with a range of different people, with different skills and backgrounds, both internally and externally.
  • You will have the ability to write reports, communicate well in English and be computer literate.
  • You will have a positive outlook, a ‘can do’ attitude and personal resilience in the face of difficulties.

 

What we will offer you in return

  • An annual salary of £39,404 (Fixed point B6 + 3 years).
  • A full-time, fixed term (until September 2026) 37.5 hours a week contract.
  • 25 days holiday, and 30 once you’ve been here five years.
  • A base at Oakland House, Manchester, M16 0PQ (Travel to other sites will be necessary).
