6x Administrators – Manchester

Salary: £18,562 per annum
Working hours: Full and part time contracts available (minimum 3 days)
Contract length: Permanent
Holidays: 25 days per annum, pro-rata (rising to 30 days after 5 years)
Based at: The role will involve a mix of office and home based working, on an agile basis. The main office site will be Oakland House, Talbot Road, Manchester, M16 0PQ.

Could you join our Administration Team?

Talking Therapies Manchester is looking to recruit six enthusiastic and motivated people to join our Administration team.

The Administration team is a vital part of our service delivery. You will liaise with clients daily to take referrals and book appointments, as well as managing confidential information in accordance with Information Governance and Confidentiality procedures. Our work is fast-paced and dynamic as we support a large clinical team and answer hundreds of calls every week. The Administration team is driven by team targets as well as individual targets, so the ideal candidate needs to feel confident in their team-working abilities as well as taking the initiative for independent tasks.

The role:

  • Be the first point of contact for clients and healthcare professionals by phone or email for enquiries, information, referral taking and appointment organising.
  • Collating, analysing and disseminating data as required.
  • Ensure information is kept updated on our client database and stored securely inline with data protection and confidentiality procedures
  • Assist with, and participate in, service promotion events and activities

The person:

  • A motivated and resilient person-centred person with strengths in multi-tasking, prioritisation and organisation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including, but not limited to, first-rate telephone manner, creation of professional documents, managing complaints, providing constructive feedback and so on
  • Good computer literacy, able to learn and master different databases
  • Excellent team-working skills with ability to be a self-starter and use initiative on individual tasks
  • Committed to personal development
  • Knowledge and understanding of common mental health problems, with a desire to work in a third sector organisation.

Talking Therapies Manchester is a mental health and a wellbeing service that offers counselling, low-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and structured workshops for clients with a range of mental health and social issues. We work alongside a group of third sector and NHS services to provide the primary care mental health service in Manchester. The service is funded by Greater Manchester Clinical Commissioning Group.
