Longsight parents and children celebrate as free school bid is submittedLeave a Comment
Parents and children from Longsight are keeping their fingers crossed after submitting a bid to the Department for Education to run a free school in Longsight.
Parents have been working with Big Life Families, which manages Longsight Children’s Centre, to submit the bid for the free school named ‘Longsight Community Primary’.
If successful the free school, which would be an extension to Longsight Surestart Children’s Centre, would eventually offer 189 school places to children aged 4 – 11 years old. For press information contact Emma Eaton on 07974 989 915 or email email@example.com
