The Big Issue in the North Trust is a registered charity (no. 1056041) that provides support and services to vendors who sell The Big Issue in the North magazine.
We are in a unique position to provide support to people who are often hardest to reach.
The people The Big Issue in the North Trust works with often have a range of complex difficulties:
- relationship breakdown
- loss of home
- drugs and alcohol
- mental health problems
- unemployment
- immigration

We help people who aren’t in touch with statutory services to get the support they need and provide a shoulder to lean on as they start to make a change. We help with things such as:
- securing permanent accommodation
- access to drug /alcohol treatment
- registering with GP/dentist
- English Language courses
- anything else to aid with the move towards a better quaility of life.
