May 2010 sees an exciting new live music event come to Manchester, in the form of The Big Noise.
For one day, big-name bands from across the region will come together at new Manchester venue Sound Control to make a noise about homelessness.
Housed in the legendary Sound Control music shop, where the Gallagher brothers bought their first guitars, Sound Control is an exciting multi-level club and live music venue conveniently located next to Oxford Road train station.
The event will incorporate a short film competition, encouraging young film makers to produce short pieces offering different perspectives on the issue of homelessness in the North of England.

Already confirmed to take part are Kid British, Clint Boon and Xfm's Gareth Brooks. Full line up, including an exciting big-name headliner, will be announced soon.

Tickets will be on sale in january, with all proceeds going to The Big Issue in the North. Watch this space for further details!
