Volunteer

Would you like to volunteer for The Big Issue in the North? Would you like to gain experience in a voluntary sector environment?

You may want to be in direct contact with our vendors or do general admin within the office environment.

You might want to use your existing skills or develop new skills all of which will be invaluable to helping The Big Issue in the North.

Volunteer Roles   

  •   Fundraising
  •   Helping with quarterly mailout (Manchester) 
  •   Self managed creative projects with vendors (eg.painting, creative writing)
  •   Events Planners
  •   Christmas assistance
  •   Helping deliver IT training (urgently needed in Liverpool)
  •   ESOL teachers
  •   Romanian Language Translator (Liverpool)

 

Alternatively if you have any ideas of things you would like to do we are open to suggestions. 

 We have offices in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and Sheffield, all of which are often in need of volunteer support.
