All research published about The Big Life group of businesses and charities is available to the public via this website.

This year we have added The Big Facts Pack, which details the way The Big Issue in the North works with vendors to help them move on in their lives. (The Big Facts pack / PDF Download)

The Big Life group gets hundreds of requests every year from many different people to carry out research and/or interviews with service users and staff.

The Big Life group has a strict research policy. We do not ask any of our service users or staff to take part in research unless it benefits them directly. For example a national research project which could result in a change in drugs services.

The Big Issue in the North generates the most enquiries. Again, we don’t ask any vendors to take part in interviews, unless there is a direct benefit to them or the services which support them in moving on in their lives. Our first priority is to protect the rights of the individual vendor or service user and their anonymity whilst rebuilding their lives.
