Training and Supported Employment

Aisha Childcare offers training and employment experience directly within a childcare setting.

This includes a rolling programme of NVQ’s in Childcare and Playwork for people wanting to work in childcare. Students receive hands on practical experience and are trained in Aisha Childcaring’s nurseries by an on site tutor. Our staff act as mentors to students and support them to maximise their training opportunities as well as gaining practical experience. Each student has an identified programme of training, which consists of personnel development, vocational qualifications and employability skills courses. Additional training such as basic skills, confidence building and IT are built in as part of an individual’s programme of training. Each year we take on full-time supported employment placements with many gaining NVQ qualifications in Childcare and Education & Playwork.
