Cruising five different routes along the Peak Forest and Macclesfield Canals, The Big Boat is an innovative space which provides an alternative venue for wellbeing services and training and employment opportunities to be delivered to people across Stockport, all within the tranquillity of canal life.
The Big Boat offers space for a range of wellbeing services, from introduction to complementary therapies, relaxation and meditation courses, to art and craft sessions like rag rugging, floristry and sketching.

Wellbeing on Water
Catering for groups of up to 12 when cruising or 18 when moored, the purpose built 70ft long cruiser has:
• An equipped galley kitchen
• Built in sound and media system
• OHP facilities
• Central heating
• Colour changing LED lighting
• Disabled access and toiletThere’s also the chance to train as a skipper or become a boat volunteer.
An Alternative Venue
The Big Boat is available to hire for the day, weekend or full week and is fully skippered.
